That’s right, your needs are forever changing and The Butterfly Bakery is here to make sure you can still live deliciously. We have been in the kitchen cooking up some new dietary restrictive treats that we can’t wait to share. But let’s take the word restrictive and replace it with indulgent... that’s better. You deserve to indulge even if you are watching your sugar, staying away from gluten, counting calories or just making a lifestyle choice to eat healthier.
Gluten Free Chocolate Chip CookiesOur line is made with the superior artisan whole grain flour-Teff. It's loaded with Potassium and very high in vitamin B. Teff has 14% more protein than normal wheat flour. Best of all Teff is naturally sweet and bakes with a nice rise. The result? Baked goods that are sweet full of fiber, light and moist. Turn your dietary restriction into dietary indulgence.  INGREDIENTS: AMARANTH FLOUR, TEFF FLOUR, SUGAR, BROWN SUGAR, WATER, BUTTER, SOYBEAN OIL, CHOCOLATE CHIPS, WHOLE EGGS, BAKING SODA, SALT, NATURAL FLAVOR. Recently I received a package of these wonderful cookies tosample at one of our monthly Gluten-Free in Florida Support Group Meetings.  As soon as I opened the package I realizedthey were magic cookies!!  Vanished assoon as the cover was lifted!! I even saw one woman walking back to her chairwith the last cookie in one hand, the empty container in the other hand and asmile on her face.  Priceless!! Ihave to admit that I actually prefer The Chewy type of Gluten-Free ChocolateChip Cookie.  Does that make me a CookieSnob?  Not at all.  I truly enjoyed these little magiccookies.  As our meeting began we all sataround with our coffee or tea and compared notes on our mid-morning snack.  Everyone loved that they had amelt-in-your-mouth sort of texture.  Notchewy, but certainly not hard and crunchy either.  I particularly enjoyed the buttery flavor andthey were filled with plenty of chocolate chips…no skimping there.  Some found them a bit too sweet for theirtaste, truthfully I did as well.  But ingeneral we all found them to be excellent cookies, reasonably priced and veryeasy to order.  Give them a try and checkthem out for yourself. The Butterfly Bakery not only makes delicious gluten-free treats (which are made in a separate part of their manufacturing facility) but also has a line of sugar-free, no sugar added, and lite baked goods. Be sure to check out their Web site for their full lines and online ordering information. You can also see where you can find their products near you.  Or you can contact them and they'll ship right to your front door. You can also find them on Amazon.com but it appears you have to buy them in bulk. Each of the different Butterfly lines are easily identifiable by color – orange is gluten-free, pink is sugar-free, and blue is no sugar added. I'm definitely looking forward to trying some additional Gluten-Free products from Butterfly Bakery and it's nice to have a bakery catering to a range of restrictions and needs. Carolanne LeBlanc Website: http://glutenfreeforlifeexpo1.blogspot.com Email: GlutenFreeforLifeExpo @ Gmail.com
