I don’t know about you…but when I step into a restaurant that states that EVERYTHING on the menu is Gluten-Free I just get giddy with excitement.  You mean I can order anything?!?  Whatever I want!?!  Oh my!
GreenOrganix is just that kind of place.  I didn’t know it at first…I’d simply stopped by because I’d heard some great things from members of my support group.  So I just had to check it out.  But when I read the menu it was right there on the first page…”all or our meals are prepared Gluten-Free”.  You mean I can order anything?!?  Yep!  Little Eats - Glorious Greens - Sammies & Wraps, Blissful Bunfulls - Filling Fare - & the Best for Last  Dessert??  Oh my!!
So I started out with the Falafel (A fusion of traditional and Indian, our homemade falafel has Indian spices and is served with tabouli).  This was very tasty…just a touch too spicy for me, but my daughter would love it!  Next I got the Grilled Wild Cod (Wild caught cod seasoned with herbs and grilled. Served with a seasonal veggie and your choice of one side).  I got the quinoa with mine.  I was very impressed by the fact that it made it to my table hot hot hot!!  Straight off the grill to my table…wonderful.  Even the grilled vegetables were still hot.  I loved it.  I finished off my meal with the Apple Crisp (Delicious caramelized apples, topped with a gluten-free crumb topping and baked till golden brown).  I was already caloried up so I got mine without…but you could have this warm Apple Crisp with ice cream or whipped cream.  Even without the sweet cream on top, I enjoyed every single guilty bite…yum :-)
I even ordered Gluten-free Macaroni & Cheese (Made with our own scratch-made sharp cheddar cheese sauce and baked to bubbly golden perfection) to go.  I’m already looking forward to lunch tomorrow.  This place really needs to be kept busy…the food was great, the staff were very personable and friendly…and EVERYTHING on the menu is prepared Gluten-Free.  I’m going to move this place to the top of my ‘go to’ list and I know I’ll be going back.
